George STUDD the early years

George STUDD was born on 23 April 1923 at 31 Holweider Strasse, Mülhiem an der Ruhr, Cologne, Germany. His father was James STUDD a British solider, part of the British Army Of the Rhine (BAOR) stationed at Wrexham Barracks in Mülhiem, his mother was Anna Gertrud MEIER. George was the second eldest of four boys, he grew up in Mülhiem until he was about 8 years old when, due to the rise of the Nazi's in Germany and the boys having an english father it was decided to leave and flee to England. They arrived in London around 1931 when George was 8 years old.
